Segovia Police Investigates IE Student’s Passing

On May 24, Segovian authorities found an IE student dead in her apartment. Calle de San Agustín was absorbed in grief for the German 19-year-old, as friends and faculty gathered outside. The Segovian branch of Spain’s national police is conducting a private, full-scale investigation. While they have a current hypothesis, no official confirmation has been reached.

As a sign of respect for Yasmin’s friends and family, The Stork asks its readers to avoid participating in – or encouraging – speculation on the circumstances of the woman’s death. IE’s Segovia campus will be hosting a memorial service for students to attend. Our hearts go out to all those affected.
